The Short Mat Players Tour are excited to announce that a new event titled the British Open will be brought to you next season. The British Open will be the fourth World Ranking singles event in the 2017-18 season and replaces the Swedish Masters.

This weekend sees the Tour heading back to Stromstad in Sweden for the 5th running of the Swedish Masters. Following the usual mid season break, we’re back into singles action with the 4th ranking event of the season. With players now looking to push on in the race for top SMPT honours, who will take the title in Scandinavia?

The SMPT Show Mat will make a welcome return at the forthcoming Swedish Masters, as we have once again selected a game from each session that will take centre stage at the Nordby Supermarket Hallen in Strömstad.
