The opening of entries to this summer’s UK Open marks the start of preparations for the first event of the 2018-19 season. Whilst it may be a new season, having already completed six full seasons on the Short Mat Players Tour and having staged over fifty events, participating players can expect to experience well organised and enjoyable tournaments.

The UK Open 2018 will be held at Falcon Bowling and Social Club on the weekend of Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th August 2018. It is the first of six Singles World Ranking Events and it is open to all players.

There’s a chance to win a coveted SMPT title, cash prizes and a guarantee of playing 6 games, so if you want to meet new people and improve your game, the SMPT Team look forward to welcoming you in Chelmsford.
